Half-time- Ghana Retains Slim Lead
Despite many tense moments and a defense lacking trojan Sammy Kuffuor, the Ghana defense has held and the Stars retain a 1-0 lead at the half.

UPDATE:
Dueling red cards shortly into the second half as noted hothead Laryea Kingston appears to have gotten into it with Habib Beye. Stuff is really starting to fly around in Port Saeed. Look for a wild finish.
While many commentators have been pushing for a more aggressive approach, the Grandmaster remains ever the cagey tactician and has held back his strength in reserve for what appears to be an all-important closing stanza.
Commenters on the scene have remarked at the apparent spryness in the legs of the Stars and the sluggishness and sloppy play of the Teranga Lions. Perhaps someone hit the palm wine a little hard last night?
