Half-time

Ghana goes inside a goal down following a half of spirited play. Both sides were very aggressive and both had many opportunities. If Ghana can convert a little better, they can get an equalizer. I assume that Italy will revert back to their old reliable ball control ways in the second period though and try to kill a little time. The pace should slow somewhat.

Best line of the day from a fan, on the anxiety of the Stars Debut- ” I have prayed already, but I feel like I have ginger in my [fanny]”

Oh Charlie!!!

Sorry for Simon errors (the reference). Here in Brazil, we really really wanted a victory of Ghana.

And these reference made too much errors in our national champioship. No one like him.

Ghana’s victory has thrilled me, living in far off India. In fact, I would have been happy if Ghana had lifted the World Cup. It would have been a slap on the face of arrogant, swanky teams like Brazil and England. Let Ghana be able to do it next time. Cheers to you folks!!!
