Question the Preparations
There seems to be quite a bit of grumbling about the Black Stars’ World Cup preparations, or lack thereof. While there is definitely reason for concern, I think it doesn’t really matter if Ghana plays 10 exhibition matches or 3 exhibition matches in the weeks ahead. The main thing is for the coach to pick his players and for the team to have sufficient practice time together. This is going to be the case. If you look at how the other teams are preparing the vast majority are following a similiar timeline as the Black Stars. Instead of fretting about the exhibition lineup, Ghana should be focusing on bringing the best possible players to Germany.
