World Cup Camp Set

Ghana have officially decided to make camp in Portugal in anticipation of this year’s World Cup in Germany. Portugal was chosen due to its ideal weather and relative proximity to both Germany and Ghana. Camp will begin May 15.

The GFA also announced a tentative series of preparation matches, including Portugal, Belgium, Iran and previously announced Korea. This sensible mix of matches should prepare the Black Stars admirably for the challenges ahead in Germany. No word yet on whether Argentina has decided between Angola and Ghana.

Also, the GFA formally expanded the Black Stars technical bench, adding two additional advance scouts, including Coach Sam Arday, the beloved “Coach Sam,” the “Multisystem Man.”
