Sir Fergie Would Like Ghana and the Ivory Coast in the Finals
Sir Alex Ferguson is one of the few EPL managers out there who enjoys the African Cup of Nations. Of course it helps that the only player Manchester United have in the tournament will be going on loan to Panathinaikos, but the real reason for his enjoyment?
His main rivals Chelsea and Arsenal are missing several key players, most of whom are representing either Ghana or the Ivory Coast. Chelsea are missing star man Michael Essien to Ghana as well as Didier Drogba and Soloman Kalou to the Ivory Coast. Arsenal are missing Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue, also with the Ivory Coast.
Says Sir Fergie:
“I’m hoping it’s an Ivory Coast and Ghana final, just to keep Arsenal and Chelsea’s players occupied. It’s no use kidding, Arsene Wenger and Avram Grant know what I’m hoping for. In fact, I’m hoping the final goes to extra-time, penalties and maybe even a replay.”
What a thoughtful man. A smart one too. Unlike his rivals, he doesn’t recruit players he knows he’ll be missing every two years, and because of that, he’s one of the few English managers who doesn’t whine when the African Cup of Nations comes around. So that means everyone at the CAF likes him too.

Contrary to popular belief, Chelsea don’t seem to be struggling nearly as badly as one would’ve first thought, yes they’re missing a fair few of their key players but never underestimate the pockets of Abramovich. All that they’ve suffered is not winning games convincingly anymore. Arsenal have suffered a worse dip in form, but they’re still maintaining course.
I would like to see a Ghana vs Ivory Coast final though, I think it could be a good match.

I BELIEVE GHANA HAVE LEFT A SCAR ON THE IVORY COAST TEAM. ANYWAY GHANA CAN PEFORM BETTER IN 2010 WORLD CUP.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK GHANA BLACK STARSSSS
