Full time for Italy; Full time for Ghana
Though they SAID it couldn’t be done and that all of Africa were back benchers, Ghana has defeated the U.S. (as all true Ghana supporters knew that they would) and advanced. The second half was sloppy and at times dangerous, but we are through to knockouts and the historic match versus Brazil. To be fair, the US looked like whipped dogs through much of the match, so better for them to go home in defeat rather than boldly face the future.
Man of the match? For me, propers have to be given to the Captain, for guiding the team through to history.
Ghana will be a team to be proud of this year.

The real test for the black stars was the czech game and they came out to prove everybody wrong. I was not so surprised they beat the US because Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroun can beat the US team anytime, anyday on any soil at any level. The Brazilians will test the stars but don’t count them out. They have beaten the brazilians before (in junior World cups) and the commitment is there. We will see the best game of the tournament.
