Ghana/Mexico Friendly

January 25th, 2006 | By: Robert | 2 Comments »

All of you U.S. based Black Stars fanciers should take note. Ghana and Mexico have scheduled a friendly in Dallas, Texas on March 1.

The friendly, Ghana’s first in some time on U.S. soil, was requested by the Mexican’s who have played eight times in the relatively homey confines of Pizza Hut Park. Mexico hopes to gain insights from Ghana’s play that will help it in Germany where it will face minnows Angola.

The large Ghanaian-Texan population has largely cheered the opportunity to support the Stars, but has already started to complain over the high ($50-200 USD) prices for tickets. Perhaps Goldfields Ghana could work out some arrangement to help supporters in America?
