Injury Update

February 18th, 2006 | By: Robert | 1 Comment »

Given the slew of injuries to Stars players and hopefuls, a weekly update is in order. The latest on our injured comrades is as follows:

Michael Essien- Back in action, seemingly without compromise, in recent premiership play

Matthew Amoah- The new Borussia Dortmund striker has not appeared in Bundesliga action yet, as a lingering knee injury has been holding him back. Apparently, there was a bit of a negative reaction last week, which has caused complications

Asamoah Gyan- No word- any info please forward to me

Sulley Ali Muntari- Recovered from his pre-CAN injury and appeared last week in a Udinese victory over Lens. However, he left in the 66th minute due to an unspecified injury. Will require further updates

Laryea Kingston- In addition to his potential world cup ban, Kingston picked up a thigh injury versus Sevilla in recent UEFA cup action

Stephen Appiah- Seemingly shipshape

why couch Leroy not thinking of calling Osei Kuffour? is it because he will reveal the bad deeds of excutives of GFA?
