Notes from Camp
A few notes on injuries (thankfully quite light) and the like from camp, both here and in the UK-
- In the UK, camp had to be moved continually due to the constant influx of cheerful UK based Ghanaian supporters. Thanks for the support boys, but don’t ruin everyone’s good time.
- On the inury front, Richard Kingston has had a virus of sorts and has been under the weather. John Mensah and Baffour Gyan have had thigh pulls, but have seemed to have worked through them. Baba Armando has suffered from headaches and a lack of playing time!!
- As noted above, spirits are high and improving…

Sure glad Ghana worked things out with their coach, Ratomir Dujkovic, the interview was by a German newspaper of a Serb coach in Africa. Ghana is ready to roll now!!

I hope that they work through all injury problems especially Richard Kingston. For me, based on his performance in the preparations matches, he should be Number 1 Goalkeeper. I am looking forward to Ghana beating or at the worse handing a drawn game to Italia.
BUt they should definitely not be too confident. I have painful memories of Italy vrs Nigeria in a recent world cup tie with Nigeria unable to hold on to a lead.

Its going to be a great game. i tip Ghana to be the dream team from Africa this year. That said never expect Italy to come to a world cup without a fight. in the end if Ghana plays well, expect a score of 2-1 in foavor of the Ghanaians.
