Roster Shifts
Looks like we won’t be seeing Isaac Boakye in Dallas after all. Following the all too common plight of Ghana footballers, Boakye was unable to get a travel visa to the United States and has been replaced by Leicester City striker Elvis Hammond, who will be making his Black Stars debut.
Boakye was displeased with the result, as am I given the Stars recent weakness on attack. Hammond, nicknamed “the Hammer”, has promised to more than make up for the drought. Will be a tough row to hoe, given the lack of both Boakye and Matthew Amoah, who is still on the mend.
In other news, Sulley Muntari did get his travelling visa, and we can expect to see him arriving tomorrow in Dallas.
