Two Reversals
In a sad day for Ghanaians, the Black Stars have suffered two reversals from previously published reports-
Reversal Number 1:
The Iran friendly originally scheduled for March 29 has been cancelled. The GFA apparently determined that it could not get a full complement together in time for the match. This is a shocking defeat for the GFA’s already weak protocol department, and it limits the number of scheduled friendlies to two.
Reversal Number 2:
Despite Abedi Pele’s statements yesterday to the contrary, FIFA reaffirmed Laryea Kingston’s World Cup ban. Apparently Pele’s big words were so much hot air, and we will not be able to fit out a full complement in Germany either.
For the good news, please wait for tomorrow.
